Last week the grilling got rained out and the chicken got baked and to be really honest I did something obviously unremarkable with the hamburger because I don’t remember it. So we are going to attempt to grill hamburgers this week. The menu is:Monday—Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie & salad
Tuesday—Hamburger Vegetable Soup
Wednesday—Turkey ham, cheesy scalloped potatoes
Thursday—Grilled hamburgers, salad chips
Friday—Tacos both hamburger and chicken
I am going to a friend’s house Tuesday for supper so I don’t know what I am having, but the boys and DarlingCaveGeek are having simple food—the hamburger soup, otherwise known as “Dump Soup” Dump a can of this and a can of that. Actually what I use is a can of VegAll, a can of tomato sauce, a can of beef broth, and some extra corn and beans. DCG is perfectly capable of cooking—but this new job is keeping him busy (Yay!) and I will have something ready for when he comes home.
Friday is tacos and while I am getting tired of them it is the only thing Boo eats a lot of. A lot. To the point I worry a little he might burst. So I am making chicken tacos for DCG and me. That should make us all happy and I make plenty for weekend leftovers.
Off to find more visit Laura at I Am an Organizing Junkie and then to visit all the creative culinary ladies who are posting their menus. I was so impressed at the creativity last week.
Have a tasty week!
Jenny asked what the recipe was for the cheeseburger pie. It can be found here at the Bisquick recipe site.

It's nto outdoor grilling weather here yet. Well, maybe today would be, but I think it will be too cold my the time it's time for dinner.
Hope the hamburgers are remarkable this week--we love them with a slice of pineapple on top--that makes them remarkable to me! Great plan this week!
That all sounds yummy! We used our grill I know 4 or 5 times last week. Gotta love this weather!!!
P.S: Dinner's at 6:30 :D

Thankyou for dropping in!
Shoepeg corn can be found in the canned vegetable section of the grocery. It comes in a little smaller can than whole kernel or creamed. It is just a different variation of corn.
