This week has flown. The weather decide to act like summer a little longer. I suppose that's okay, but I was excited for fall. The trees, however are showing signs of redecorating themselves. How I love to see the tapestry of autumn.
We were blessed because my dad decided to visit us. The boys are tickled to have Grandpa to show off for. Dad and I have had chances to sit and talk which is always a good thing. The boys took Dad and Grandpa out to the driving range for a few pointers. This golf thing just might be fun. I've wanted for them to get the bug. I think it would be a nice family activity. I used to golf quite a bit & my husband used to golf, but we really have only golfed together once or twice!! So it is our goal to do more next year.
Results from the boys auditions are still not available, but Boo may have a chance for a different audition. A touring ballet company needs a little boy who can "jump, run across the stage & fall down." Ummmm...yeah. He can do that!! He does it at home quite a bit. So that might be some fun.
My husband has had a lot of stress at work lately. I am grateful that some of his work can be accomplished from home. It's not a perfect job, but a chance to sit in his own office and stay out of some traffic is always a good thing.
I am grateful for my hobbies. Even though I don't get a lot of time to indulge in them, they provide a nice chance to decompress and be creative.
We are grateful for so much this week. What are you grateful for?
Grains of Gratitude began with the busy but grateful Christine at Brady's Bunch.
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every moring: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion saith my soul: therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3: 21-26
