I had a nice little post all ready for Shannon’s WFMW. Typed up, just needed uploaded and linky-d. But I can’t post it right now. It just doesn’t feel right. I truly don’t mean to sound preachy, but this is where my heart is today.
In light of these last few weeks I offer something that everyone already knows, I am sure. But I’ve got to say it.
Prayer. That’s what works.
Offering prayers for the victims & their families at Virginia Tech and this nation that mourns with them.
Prayers for Heather, Kelli & Amy. Prayer for Jenna's grandmother-in-law. Prayer for dear sweet Izzy.
So many other prayers. If you care to leave a prayer request, I would be honored to pray. Or you can e-mail me if you want— ourjoyfuldays “at” gmail “dot” com.
Our God is bigger than all the trials, and illnesses and fear. Our God is bigger than death.
Prayers for you.
This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every moring: great is thy faithfulness. The Lord is my portion saith my soul: therefore will I hope in him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3: 21-26
