When we decided to homeschool our children I thought that meant staying at home. Silly me. But this is a week where I only have to get in the car one day!!! It’s a holiday around here. Next week we will be driving five days a week for four weeks, so I am going to be enjoying this. We will probably still keep it simple though. Seems the easiest for the whole crew. So without further ado, this week’s menu.Monday—Grilled chicken breasts, asparagus, and rice
Tuesday—Spaghetti pie, bread, and salad
Wednesday—our only day out, Rotisserie chicken from Sam’s, veggies and bread
Thursday—Surprise party for a friend’s 30th. Her hubby is going to be earning some brownie points for that!!
Friday—Grilled turkey burgers, tomatoes and corn
Visit Menu Plan Monday’s hostess, Laura at I’m an Organizing Junkie. What a great place for ideas.
This week I will be giving away a set of five books. Check here for details.

What a fun surprise for your friend. That husband will definitely be earning double brownie points.

Yummy looking week--and I know what you mean when you talk about the joy of being home several nights in a row.
Asparagus---yumm! We haven't had that very much this spring. I knew there was something we were missing out on! ;) And the spaghetti pie sounds very good too.
Enjoy your *restful* week...
